Goal: Learn how to use Meridian-Meditation Therapy to manage stress, anxiety, and sleep.
Learn how sitting still with yourself can help you take back control of your health without added medications.
I developed Meridian Access Therapy and Meridian-Meditation based on EFT/tapping and using acupressure points to facilitate an unconventional but highly effective meditative style.
The basis for understanding why Meridian Access Therapy is effective is to first understand what physical pain and disease really are. Both physical pain and disease are intricately woven into all negative emotions and stress. Health problems we experience create a feedback system. For example, our physical symptoms trigger emotional distress, and similarly, unresolved emotional issues manifest themselves through physical symptoms. Therefore, to maintain the body’s health and ability to heal, the problems must be approached appreciating the body as a single unit, every physiological system interconnected. One cannot treat the symptoms without first addressing the true underlying cause, and vice-versa, especially if the cause is not structural or anatomical. The mind-body connection is key to understanding how Meridian works.I also try to remind the patients that many studies have shown that negative emotions weaken the body’s immune system, while positive emotions strengthen the body. Negative emotions are the following: shame, guilt, grief, fear, anxiety, craving, anger, hate, frustration, apathy, disappointment, sadness, regret, and so forth. Furthermore, if emotions are not expressed, they are suppressed, which then results in the patient shutting down, losing self esteem, losing confidence and then the process of believing that there can be no further relief or joy in life enters into a vicious cycle. I use Meridian Therapy to help my patients diminish and/or eliminate their high blood pressure, pain, neuropathy, tremors, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, and to enhance a positive outlook of life and well-being.
Meditation is a mind and body practice that has a long history of use for increasing calmness and physical relaxation, improving psychological balance, coping with illness, and enhancing overall health and well-being. Recently Harvard medical school published a detail study on the brains effect by meditation utilizing MRI scans. The researchers found decreased gray-matter density in the amygdala part of the brain, which is known to play an important role in anxiety and stress and they did not observed these changes in the control group.
My personal experience in combining both Meridian Therapy and Meditation is that my patients effectively improve their well-being and quality of life.
